Espen Tollefsen

He works to commission and independently, with galleries, architects and designers using a wide range of techniques including contemporary stained glass. Combining photography with traditional crafts as enamel colors and sandblast.

The starting point of his artwork can be found in his origins by the rugged seashores in Vesterålen. His affinity with landscape is evident in his work.

In his macro work he is more into the sense of nature, sense of weather and light. By enlarging small details he creates new spaces and new layers of interpretation.

In Andøya he is a part of Atelier Nøss, an artist run gallery.

In Oslo he is a member of Lavetthuset Artist´s Studio at Hovedøya.

On his client list is Pfarrkirche St Konrad in Berlin, Nordlandssykehuset Stokmarknes, St Olav Hospital, KORO, Hurtigruten, ROM Eiendom, Norsk Medisinaldepot, Unversitetssykehuset I Tromsø, RCCL, DNB Næringseiendom, rederiet Leif Høegh og Andenes Ungdomsskole.
